I've frequently referred to articles or other resources at the Harvard Business Review and Harvard Business Online sites. And, I've said that "all HBR articles are pay-to-read." Siobhan Ford of the Harvard Business Review was kind enough to email me with a correction.
"I just wanted to let you know that each month we do offer a few feature-length articles and the entire Forethought section for free."
This is true and it makes the site even more worthy of a visit. Ms Ford also told me that all content on the Harvard Business Review site is free during April. There are some great articles in the current issue, so be sure to check it out.
Take a special look at "Can You Say What Your Strategy Is?" which is described like this: "It’s a dirty little secret: Most executives cannot articulate the objective, scope, and advantage of their business in a simple statement. If they can’t, neither can anyone else." Then click back and check out the book I reviewed last week, Bob Prosen's Kiss Theory Goodbye for more ways to tackle the issue.
