He was trying to do the right thing. My youngest grandson went off to the bathroom on the first day of his visit. When he was done, he sprayed the room with deodorizer.

There was only one problem. The bottle he chose was not standard bathroom deodorizer. It was a spray bottle of very expensive perfume that I buy as a special gift for my wife.

He used the "spray" liberally. The result was that we had one of the best smelling bathrooms in the known world and a lot less expensive perfume.

Lessons learned. No matter how much you try, you can never think of all the things that someone might do or not do to surprise you. And, even with the best intent, sometimes people do things you don't want them to do.
