At every Olympic Games, the athletes are the focus, which is as it should be. But sometimes we forget the people who help them develop their skills and concentrate to produce their best performances. So, here's to the coaches.
Here's to the coaches who spot talent and encourage athletes to do what they do well.
Here's to the coaches who help athletes develop their talent to its full potential.
Here's to the coaches who help athletes prepare mentally for the games.
Here's to the coaches who support the athletes no matter where they finish.
But athletics isn't the only place you'll find coaches. They're at work, too. Some are people who claim coaching as a service they offer. But more of them are the managers in the trenches who work every day to accomplish the mission and care for the people.
Here's to the coaches who spot talent and encourage us to do what we do well.
Here's to the coaches who help us develop our talent to its full potential.
Here's to the coaches who help us prepare mentally for the work we have to do.
Here's to the coaches who support us no matter what.

Good coaches and good employees often get overlooked we hear about the CEO but not about the assistants and staff that helped them get where they are to day. Its seems like to often the people that made some one successful are overlooked.

Good post....reminds us that we all can be coaches and reminds us that coaches want to make us be a good as we are capable of. Sounds like great parents. I guess they are the ultimate coaches and for all the right reasons. Coaching is about good managment and good leadership....Lee

Thanks for coming by and sharing, Lee. I think often that managers, like parents, often get lucky because of the quality of their team members. But I also think we need to be careful because the example we set often turns into the culture we have to deal with.
