When I started blogging things were different. There were not all that many leadership blogs. Very few of them were good. Early on, though, I became a regular reader of
Steve Roesler's All Things Workplace
Lisa Haneberg's Management Craft
Michael Wade's Execupundit
Jim Stroup's Managing Leadership
Today there are a lot more blogs covering the leadership and management territory. There are many great ones. But there is an awful lot of junk presented as thoughtful commentary, too.
That's why I was thrilled when Mike Myatt, one of my favorite bloggers, put together a list of the "Top 30 Leadership Blogs." Mike is knowledgeable and thoughtful and his list reflects both characteristics.
As far as I know, this is the only list of leadership blogs that's "hand selected." Mike also shares some statistical data on the blogs he's picked, like Alexa and Google ranks.
The result is an extremely helpful list. You shouldclick over to Mike's blog and check it out.

Thanks for sharing this list, Wally (and congrats on being named to it -- and on your perfect TwitterGrader Score, wow). I love adding quality leadership blogs to my RSS feed for inspiration and blog fodder, and you've given me a great list to go through. I hope all your readers take a few minutes to do the same.

Thanks for the kind mention, Wally. Obviously, I am a regular fan of your site also, and try to encourage others to subscribe, rather than just put it in their bookmarks, so that they can also enjoy and benefit from your weekly email to subscribers - really great stuff!
Thanks!

Thank you, Jim. Your blog was one of the first quality blogs I found. It was early proof that there were bloggers out there who though deeply and wrote well.

Thanks so much! I opened the linkpage "Top 30 Leadership Blogs." and I still found I only need 5 to 10 blogs since I don't have time to read so many blogs in every day. Anyway, thanks so much to share this with us.

Thanks for the kind words. Mike Myatt gets the credit on this. He did the work and put the list together. I just waved my arms a bit and pointed in his direction.
