Conversations are your power tool if you're a boss. They're the way you grow relationships, make key points, learn about team members, and lay the groundwork for important actions. Here are some guidelines.
Conversations are two way. Both parties listen. Both parties talk.
Conversations can be about a lot of things. Work is only one of them.
Lots of conversations mean lots of opportunities to improve relationships.
When you touch base, have conversations.
